Settle down

Hey Everyone.
So, things have settled down a little bit here.  Everyone has settled back into their routines and we were able to establish our own.  I think my longing to be alone with my hubby was so great that anyone else near us just frustrated me.  Thank goodness a good friend gave me a little book of treasures...199 Promises of God.  Number 53 says:  He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.  Psalm 147:3  My heart is recovering from the loss of the 80 days we were apart from each other and Nathan his family.  We can never have that time back and I am quite certain I will not ever choose for us to live separate again.  I am not sure what that means for the month of September, but right now I need to enjoy here and now.
So, I would like to share a list of things with you that have never been important to me that this summer have become a big part of my days.  1.  Relaxing.  Seriously, I am no good at relaxing.  I run around from chore to chore, list to list and place to place all the time.  Here, I stay at the camper for two reasons.  There is nothing to do.  I don't know what to do.  2.  Shaving my legs.  Not to be gross BUT this has never been a major priority to me.  Here it is hot all the time and I must shave every other day.  3.  Tanning.  When the only place to be is outside...we are ALL getting a tan.  4.  Painting my nails.  Amidst my boredom, I might as well look good.  Me and the girls are doing this on a regular basis.  5.  Grilling.  Nathan has always been the grill master at home...here it is me AND I love the grill I get to use.  :)
Anyways, I am seeking the Lord to help me reclaim my self.  I feel as though in the past week she has gotten lost.  Please pray for all of us, especially for good behavior and consistent discipline.  Tight quarters could really drive a mom insane.  Even a mom who loves her children very much.
Thanks friends.  When I say I miss you I really mean it.  I miss you.
Love,
Em

Today is June...what?

Okay.  It is June 8th.  Wow.  When you have no schedule whatsoever you really don't need to know the date.  This fact makes it very interesting paying the bills.  :)  We arrived successfully in Laceyville, PA on Friday, June 3rd at 6:00 p.m.  Exactly when Nathan got off of work.  We had our reunion in the parking lot of a truck stop...romantic right?  Not really.  Either way we got to be together and that what this whole crazy trip is about.  Three out of 4 kids insisted on riding with their dad in the truck to the camper.  So, me and Allyson followed him on some very seriously BACK roads...gravel, mountainous roads.  We went over some tickly hills and arrived at our destination.  We are living in the back yard of a family, who is about our age, with two boys (a 7th grader and a 5th grader).  The set up isn't bad BUT I am having a difficult time adjusting to sharing my family with other people all the time.  It is very overwhelming to me.  I want my hubby to come home and sit and talk with me and the kids and instead he is outside talking to what we refer to as "the neighbors."  Please pray for me to work through this.  I feel selfish BUT I also feel like I would like some privacy.
I have spent most of my time cleaning...shocking right?  First I cleaned our camper, then I cleaned Chad's, then some guy named Vince offered to pay me cash to clean his so me and the kids did that too.  I also have spent time watering the garden the family has.  So if you are gathering this....we live here (our fam of 6), Chad, Vince and the family that lives here (fam of 4).  I haven't ventured out much as I am waiting for the next paycheck :)  Sadly, Nathan is now working 7 days a week so I am still longing for time with him.
Ladies and gentleman, pray for our family.  This venture doesn't feel like a God placement to me.  I feel like I am battling A PAYCHECK for my husband and the job is winning.
We starting out looking to make an excessive amount of money to pay off some debt (Dave Ramsey style), but I am not sure any family should have to live through this.  I told my hubby last night that I am not willing to sacrifice the life we built to get ahead on debt.  There are other ways for us to do it.  Now, I am praying God provides.
I will try to be more positive in my next post.  Love you,
Emmy
